Cape Royale: Southern Africa Travel staff review
From the moment we arrived at the Cape Royale Hotel near the waterfront in Cape Town we felt welcome. We were met at the reception by our butler and a speedy check in that took about 5 minutes. We were shown to our room, a Deluxe Family Suite - spacious with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms, a main lounge area consisting of a dining area and a lounge as well as a fully equipped kitchen. My kids felt as though they were in heaven, this room was bigger than our house! They felt comfortable and at ease and so did we.
For families with children, the hotel has recently added a kids room / centre where they have games, DVD’s, Play station, colouring in, sweets, books and so much more. The swimming pool at the top of the hotel is of a reasonable size and has stunning views of the waterfront and mountain area.
Meal times at the hotel are easy, although the hotel has a fine dining restaurant they were more than happy to accommodate us with a specially prepared kids menu – no fuss at all brought right up to our room in less than 30 minutes!
Overall – fabulous hotel, friendly service, family friendly, good location and will recommend it to any family travelling to Cape Town.
