African Relish - Africa’s Culinary Spirit

Imagine a 150 year old tiny Karoo farm cottage with 30cm thick walls and old wooden doors that don’t close properly set in an indigenous garden complete with reservoir and windmill! The sunset each evening was picturesque - the sky a deep pink with long lazy shadows stretching over the orange dust as the fire crackles in the background.

Together with fresh produce bought from local markets, a fully equipped quaint kitchen makes self catering a breeze.

Plenty of space on the property makes this a wonderful place for children to explore and have fun too.

Sounds of hens crowing and people laughing in the distance are all the break the peace. Prince Albert is a gem of a town nestled inbetween breathtaking mountain passes which we explored - completely breathtaking.

Aside from this accommodation, African Relish runs a Karoo Cuisine cooking school and I am DEFINITELY going back to do one of their authentic cooking courses.

Wonderful hospitality in a warm, friendly town.
