We had the wonderful opportunity of staying at the magnificent Cape Grace Hotel recently and this was perfectly timed as the previous evening we had endured a sleepover with 13 little girls to celebrate my daughters 10th birthday. The hotel pulled out all the stops and made our stay so incredibly relaxing. The hotel has a wide selection of DVD's which is on offer to all in-house guests so we decided to settle in for the evening with a great movie. And in true style, the hotel went the extra mile by delivering popcorn to our room! Kira has asked if we could please have a house 'just like the Cape Grace' !

I would definitely recommend the African Pride Arabella Hotel & Spa for any conference group, large or small, due to its proximity to both Cape Town International Airport as well as the famous coastal town of Hermanus.
Although I have been to the Cape Grace several times, I hadn’t ventured into the Bascule Bar or Signal, so when the hotel offered to host us for dinner last Friday, we decided to make a night out of it…
Situated in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands, the Spier Estate really is a destination in itself. Not only do they offer award-winning wine, luxury accommodation and a variety of dining experiences but guests are able to touch a cheetah, stroll through the craft market, get up close and personal with an eagle, go for a walk, ride a horse or simply marvel at contemporary South African art in all forms.
