Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge

Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge

Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge is a truly unique luxury safari experience. The twelve individual suites and presidential suite each resemble a termite mound and looking from afar you would never guess what luxury awaits you. The suites are spacious with muted colours and lead out to your own private plunge pool.

We arrived in time for a delicious high tea before departing on our first evening game drive. We were in the capable hands of our ranger Darred and tracker Goodman - they went out of their way to make each game drive a memorable one! We had incredible lion sightings, saw large herds of buffalo, rhinos wallowing in a late afternoon mud bath, elephants and plenty plains game. The highlight was watching a leopard stalking a herd of Impala just metres from our game drive vehicle, completely oblivious to the excitement he was creating around him! Unfortunately for the leopard the Impala got away but for all of us, it was an amazing experience!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this unique lodge - good food, friendly staff, great company made our stay there unforgettable!
