Franschhoek Country House

The Franschhoek Country House has a distinctive French Provencal character evident in the architecture, manicured gardens and décor.  As it happened, our stay coincided with the town’s annual Bastille festivities, so we really felt like we had been whisked away to a quaint French town of the day.

We were accommodated in a ground floor Villa Suite - spacious would be an understatement!!  It was luxurious yet comfortable at the same time, the amenities top class and the attention to detail impeccable…including the underfloor heating in the bathroom! The lounge area is very spacious – two children can be accommodated very comfortably on the sleeper couch.  Our dinner in the award-winning restaurant, ‘Monneaux’ was excellent.  The food was DIVINE, the service professional yet warm and friendly at the same time. 

Would I recommend it to my clients?  Most definitely!
