Make good use of the well-positioned hides at Savuti Camp for an even closer, unhindered view of the abundance of game found here. The day and night game drives will steer you through the Savute Channel and to get even closer to the land book for a guided nature walk.

The vast numbers of game obviously attract the predators of Africa, the great cats including lion and cheetah and the spotted hyena, even the critically endangered wild dog has been sighted here. Thousands of elephants roam the Linyanti region, zebras visit on their annual migration and there is a very high concentration of bird species in particular the stunning birds of prey.

Go fishing on a catch or release basis or if your group has booked the entire camp then feel free to request the use of private boats. Depending on water levels and how many elephants are in the vicinity at the time, you can also canoe down the river for a rather different take on the landscape.
