Crafted and built on the banks of the Chobe River, the Zambezi Queen houseboat offers 5-Star luxury accommodation in a sleek, modern and beautiful 45m vessel. There are only 14 cabins on board, four of which are master suites. These spacious rooms hold a double or two single beds and are tastefully and classically furnished. Shutters on the deck and ceiling fans in the rooms ensure that you stay comfortably cool during the heat of the day and mosquito screening on the entire boat offers protection against insects. All of the luxury cabins are found on the first two levels of the houseboat.

You will head to the top deck for an exclusive and specifically tailored dining experience. The luxury Zambezi Queen is proud to offer you an authentic, opulent menu featuring the flavours of Africa created by leading South African chef, Peter Goffe-Wood. Both local and imported spirits, wines and beers are available in the dining area and bar. You can relax in the spacious lounge with its wood burning fireplace or escape to the library to pick up a good book, one of many games or to use the telescope to check out the brilliant African stars at night. Tours & Safaris to Zambezi Queen

Choosing the Zambezi Queen for its luxury accommodation and unique experience offers you the best of both worlds in terms of game viewing. You will already have excellent views from the boat itself, the pool on the deck and the dining room but you can also choose to go out on smaller boats to get up-close to the shore and the animals that come down to drink there. Alternatively take the half-day land-based 4x4 game viewing option that will take you deep into the Botswana’s Chobe National Park. Trained guides, groomed for their jobs by leading guiding expert, Garth Thompson, will accompany you. There is a small plane available, at an additional cost, that will allow the opportunity of some aerial game viewing or it can be used for quick trips to Victoria Falls and the Okavango Delta.

For anglers there is always the challenge of trying to catch Tiger fish or bream and there is a professional team on hand to help! The luxury houseboat, the Zambezi Queen, is moored on the banks of the Caprivi Strip only a few kilometres away from where Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia meet. It is conveniently located near the Kasane International Airport and by road is under 85kms from Victoria Falls and a short flight away from the Okavango Delta. You will fly in to Kasane International Airport, ideally suited to receive charter flights from all neighbouring countries as well as South Africa, and then be transported by road and boat to the docking station.
