Jao Camp offers an exclusive safari experience and the luxury accommodation is limited to nine spacious tents with en-suite facilities. All of the tented rooms have been individually decorated with artistic touches and are set beneath a canopy of trees for shade. Relax on your private viewing deck in comfortable chairs or hammock or recline on the sala for siestas and leisurely game viewing.

The cool thatched lounge and bar at the main lodge offers respite from the heat of the day and you can cool off in one of two swimming pools on offer at this luxury lodge. After fabulous dinners served up in the dining room, head for drinks around the campfire to swop stories.

Make use of the in-house Spa for a relaxing massage or beauty treatment and if you need to stay physically active head to the Gym with its rowing machine, exercise ball and free weights. The Entertainment Room is a hit with children as entertainment is laid on for them and is also the place to watch great wildlife documentaries as well as listen to lectures on the region.

Get in amongst elephant, buffalo, leopard, tsessebe, zebra and wildebeest and when on the water keep a lookout for hippo and crocodile. A great destination for bird lovers, the Okavango Delta is home to the largest concentrations of endangered Wattled Crane in Africa and exotic species such as the Rosy-throated Longclaws, African Skimmer, Meyer’s Parrot and the rare Pel’s Fishing-Owl are regularly spotted.
