Enjoy the exclusivity of Stanley’s Camp as there are only eight classic-style safari tents accommodating 16 people at this luxury African safari destination. All of the tents, arranged within an amphitheatre surrounded by indigenous trees, are raised and have en-suite facilities as well as a private balcony. Spend some time swaying in the hammocks, reading, dreaming or remembering the fantastic game viewings of the day. If you feel the need to cool off head to the swimming pool and the exquisite viewing decks surrounding it.

Stretch out in handcrafted beds, sink into the comfort of fine linen and the classic colonial ambience created by the antique pieces and oriental carpets used as décor. Dine alfresco in the African bush or opt for gourmet meals, matched with fine wines in the Lodge’s restaurant.

 

 

Tours & Safaris to Stanley’s Camp

Game viewing in the area around Stanley’s Camp is very good with large numbers of predators and plains game; this is besides the numerous bird species found in the area. Watch herds of up to 2 000 buffalo stroll past you while you are on a morning or evening game drive, head into the bush on foot to get a sense of the smaller animals and plant life sometimes missed when driving through by 4x4 vehicle.

Create the memories of a lifetime at Stanley’s Camp when you stroll along with three semi-habituated elephants, learning more about these fantastic creatures and treasuring the chance to get up close and touch them. Drift through the waterways of the region by mokoro (dependent on water levels), silently gliding past animals as they come to the water to quench their thirst.
