Banyan Tree Madivaru

This beautiful island and the luxury Banyan Tree Madivura welcome you to an idyllic stay in elegant and romantic tented villas. There are only six on the island so your privacy is guaranteed and there is plenty of space to spread out in your own three distinct spaces for living, sleeping and bathing. With timber flooring, rattan and handcrafted and teak furnishings your living quarters are extremely comfortable. The ceiling canopies keep out the leaves falling from the surrounding indigenous trees and you only have to step out of your luxury ‘tent’ to reach the pristine white sands of the beach.

Stay in for a spa treatment in the bathing tent with its two spa baths as side-by-side treatment beds are set up for a relaxing massage or signature beauty treatment. You dedicated island host is always close at hand to ensure that whatever you need is manifest at this luxury island destination.

Dine in on your private balcony courtesy to a menu of your choice or head to Boa Keyo with its intimate restaurant and bar set out in spacious and comfortable tents with a shaded deck. The cuisine lives up to the luxury standards of the lodge and is accompanied by fine wines. A special dining destination is a nearby sandbank which you will reach by boat to enjoy a gourmet dinner under the stars.

The warm, tropical ambience of this magical island will have you outdoors most of the day either lazing around the pool, on the beach or swimming in the beautiful shallow lagoon. The surrounding house reefs made for excellent snorkelling and diving adventures – some of the best diving sites for both beginners and the more experienced are found in the Maldives.

When out sailing, the sunset cruise is a must, look out for dolphins, eagle and manta rays as well as the beautiful, giant turtles. There are plenty of scheduled activities and excursions to other islands and whatever you were hoping to do while on your tropical island holiday can be arranged.
