You can choose from luxury beach chalets or villas with views over Indigo Bay at the luxury Indigo Bay Island Resort and Spa. All of them have been crafted from natural materials including thatch, wood and reeds and so blend beautifully into the natural surrounds. Inside, sink into opulent luxury with spacious en-suite rooms and facilities such as air-conditioning, mosquito screens, mini-bars, satellite TV and a telephone. If you are travelling as a family or group ask for interleading and shared veranda chalets or villas.

In total there are 44 chalets and villas available from the 29 set right on the beach with king-sized beds, a veranda, living area and dressing room to 12 luxury Bay View Villas with two bedrooms, an outside dining area, a sala, private splash pool and additional facilities. Those seeking more privacy or wanting to celebrate a romantic moment should opt for the one beach honeymoon chalet with its en-suite bathrooms, dressing room, and lounge area and splash pool. There is one executive suite available, the Matemo Suite, also boasting its own plunge pool, veranda and lounge or you could go all out and opt for the Presidential Villa offering five star luxury with a spa bath and swimming pool. This villa includes a king-sized room and one twin room in addition to a private lounge and bar.

Just one of the highlights of staying at the luxury Indigo Bay Island Resort is the food; there are spectacular restaurants serving up just-caught seafood and characterful bars on site for you to relax in before or after dining. Bazaruto is a legendary destination both for the biodiversity of marine life as well as the scenic beauty of the island. On shore there is also plenty to do from beach strolls, nature walks, dune boarding and birdwatching.

The luxury Indigo Bay Island Resort is located on Bazaruto Island in the midst of the famous archipelago just off Mozambique’s coastline. There are schedule flights into the nearest town Vilanculos and from there you will be met and escorted by private charter to Indigo Bay – the flight lasts approximately 15 minutes.
