There are only 13 luxury chalets available on exclusive Medjumbe Private Island and all offer sumptuous comforts and the ultimate in barefoot luxuries. Bathrooms are en-suite and offer indoor and outdoor showers; all of the chalets are air-conditioned for your comfort. Closer to shore keep a lookout for the distinctive leatherback, loggerhead and green turtles that come to lay their eggs along the sandy island beaches.

It is a pure pleasure to swim here in the balmy waters that hardly ever drop below 27 degrees, even in winter and a walk along the shoreline of this small island, 1 kilometre long and 500 metres wide, will prove rewarding for nature- and bird-lovers.
