Damaraland camp is a warm,friendly place situated in the Huab River Valley in one of the most pristine wilderness areas in Namibia; as such it offers endless vistas across stark plains, ancient valleys and the soaring inselberg of the Brandberg mountains. Located 90 kilometres from Torra Bay, the camp is situated in the mountainous region of northwest Namibia.

Damaraland Camp is a rare synergy that integrates the local community and the environment with sustainable ecotourism, and it has won an array of awards including the 2005 WTTC Tourism for Tomorrow Conservation Award, one of the top two global travel environmental awards.

Damaraland Camp is able to accommodate a maximum of 20 guests in ten comfortable and spacious walk-in Meru-style tents. Each tent is well appointed to allow for incredible views over the valley.

All tents are en-suite and are equipped with flush toilets and hot showers. Guests enjoy high quality meals that are prepared with fresh produce that is regularly flown in to the lodge. The chef’s create authentic African dishes and fine cuisine, and special dietary requirements are catered for.

Damaraland Camp also offers guided walking and driven activities that allow guests to explore the surrounding areas.

Unfortunately, due to water scarcity in the area, the lodge is unable to offer a laundry service to guests.
