Choose the luxurious Ongava Lodge if you are looking for an exciting safari adventure in Africa. Situated on the southern boundary of the world-famous Etosha National Park, Ongava Lodge offers you personalised service, luxurious accommodation and the opportunity to view the abundance of wildlife in the area.

The main lodge is set near the top of a hill amongst the foothills of the Ondundozonanandana mountain range. You need to stay here just for the view alone. Revel in the impressive vistas from the main lounge, pub and dining areas. Delicious meals are served here with a view over the camp’s waterhole. You will need the pool, also at the main lodge, to cool off in the heat of the day.

The rock and thatch chalets are cool and comfortable and lead onto private verandas overlooking the bush. You won’t want to stay in your room as the wildlife on the Ongava Reserve as well as adjacent Etosha National Park will entice you on a game drive, or two or three. Lion, elephant, cheetah and a variety of buck can be seen at many of the waterholes in the park and if you don’t see them in the day, try the night drives, hides or walks with armed guards around the reserve. A special treat when staying here is the opportunity to see white and black rhino; both of them are on the endangered list.

Ongava Lodge offers you a luxury, big game adventure in Namibia.

Accommodation at this luxury holiday venue is in one of 14 chalets constructed from thatch and brick. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms with both a bath and shower. The rooms are cooled with overhead fans and air-conditioning in summer; else make use of the swimming pool to cool down. Facilities in the rooms include safes, mosquito nets and tea/coffee making stations. There is a laundry service available.

The main lodge also has a curio shop and guests are welcome to while away the day in the open lounge and bar.
