Skeleton Coast Safaris

Price On Request

Owned and operated by the legendary Schoeman family since 1977, Skeleton Coast Safaris continues its tradition of hosting extraordinary desert experiences for small groups to the Skeleton Coast and its hinterland.

Flying in a light aircraft presents a bird’s-eye view of the haunting beauty of the landscape – a vast area of rolling sand dunes, expanses of uninhabited desert plains, fossil beds, unique geological formations, desert-adapted animals and strange vegetation.

The driven excursions allow exploration of various areas of interest in greater detail and at close range. Three permanent, private and exclusive desert camps are strategically located en route to accommodate guests in comfortable tents. Each private tent is appointed with a bush shower and toilet. Culinary requirements are catered for and include tasty meals, fresh fruit and salads, as well as a good selection of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

The Cessna 210 propeller aircraft of the Schoeman brothers reach far into the unspoilt wilderness and enable spectacular experiences. Hosted by knowledgeable and experienced pilots who have grown up and fly in this remoteness, guests share in their passion of the surroundings.

A Skeleton Coast Safari can be combined with extensions to other popular destinations, such as Sossusvlei, Lüderitz, Namib Nature Reserve and Etosha National Park. Depending on the safari option chosen, guests spend between four and six days exploring Namibia.
