Head to the exotic Desroches Island for an exclusive and utterly unbelievable Seychelles holiday. Astounding luxury awaits you at this upmarket destination, the only accommodation available within the exquisite Amirantes group of Indian Ocean Islands.
With balmy weather the entire year round, crystal clear, warm ocean waters and soft white sand beaches, the luxury Desroches Island lodge promises you an unforgettable stay. The luxury beach suites and villas are set amidst tropical jungle right on the beach and are stocked with sumptuous comforts and facilities including private chefs and butlers!
Indulge in authentic Creole cuisines, spoil yourself with a Balinese massage and dip into a range of activities, for all ages, from snorkelling, kayaking, guided tours of the islands, big game fishing to cycling, swimming and sailing.
With an ancient tortoise colony on the island, an abundance of natural beauty and wildlife, the luxury Desroches Island is the perfect destination for a memorable Seychelles holiday.
The 20 beach suites and 23 four-bedroomed villas of this luxury lodge blend into the tropical gardens they are set in, each with their own private veranda that leads directly onto the white-sand beach. Boasting modern yet luxurious touches that reflect the sensuousness of the island, all of the amenities you could wish for are included. The beach suites have a covered outdoor bath; two bicycles are provided per suite and are all air-conditioned. The luxury beach villas with solid wood flooring, subtle pastel shades and comfortable cane armchairs boast their own private swimming pools, spacious entertainment areas, modern kitchens and if you so wish, a private chef.
If you choose one of the four one-bedroomed beach villas you are choosing an even more private and exclusive experience. With the Presidential Suite you might not want to leave your luxury villa as it comes with a private rim-flow swimming pool, a spacious entertainment area, fully-equipped kitchen and your very own butler!
Dine in style at the island restaurant or in the privacy of your own space back at the villa. You can sample traditional Creole delights on the beach at the signature Le Ve Loutier Restaurant at breakfast and dinner time and for lunch, tuck into fresh seafood or pizza at the Ghost Crab Grill. L’Amirantes Bar is popular throughout the day for their freshly-mixed cocktails. Relax into the soothing hands of trained Balinese masseuses either in the privacy of your own suite, under the tropical palm trees, on the beach or in the beautiful Spa centre.
For children there are bicycles and snorkelling equipment available as well as family kayaks for cruising the shallow bay. Make use of the stylish Desroches Island Spa for some signature treatments and to further relax head to the lounge and bar at the main lodge, browse the boutique shops, dip into the library or spend some serious time out on the beach.
Besides the luxury of just being able to step outside of your room for a dip in the pool or the warm ocean waters, there is a Sea Explorer Dive Centre on site with a range of activities from snorkelling to diving. You can also get out into deeper waters for a fishing charter or explore the island by bicycle or on foot. Find secluded beaches, shady tropical trees to rest under or meet the locals in the island village.
Back at the luxury Desroches, you can join in a game of tennis on the floodlit courts, test your skill at table tennis, and take up French bowls and more. There are guided nature walks, neighbouring island trips, hydro bikes and sea kayaks for hire, surfing opportunities and sunset cruises.
For children, a special programme has been worked out to introduce them to the beauty of the island and ensure that they have just as fabulous a holiday as you do.
Desroches Island is the only accommodation available within the exquisite Amirantes group of Indian Ocean islands, 230km southwest of Seychelle’s largest island, Mahé.
