Plettenberg Park Hotel and Spa is an exclusive and unique hotel found in the heart of the South African Garden Route, yet only minutes away from the holiday mecca of Plettenberg Bay. The hotel is situated in a private nature reserve, its cliff-top setting offering guests dramatically sweeping views of the Indian Ocean.
The hotel has a total of 10 rooms: five in the original wing (facing out over the sea, swimming pool or lake) while the new wing has five sea-facing rooms. Each room has a private balcony, under floor heating, a mini bar filled with drinks and snacks, and an en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower.
Whatever you want to do that day can be easily arranged: whale or bird watching, nature walks, fishing, horse riding or golf. Or you might just be tempted to spend your days alongside the 25-meter infinity pool, which spills over to views of the Indian Ocean and the hotel's private lake.
Plettenberg Park Hotel and Spa is well known for its excellent cuisine. Breakfasts offer a wide selection, and if you want to have dinner at the hotel the chef will chat to you during the day and create a menu around your specific tastes. How about mussels, freshly harvested that day; or a rack of tender 'Karoo' lamb?
