Lukimbi safari lodge is a luxury safari lodge in the game-rich southern section of the Kruger National Park. It is built along the Lwakahle River, a favourite drinking place of elephants and buffalo. Lukimbi has 16 suites, each with en-suite bathroom, private lounge and deck, telephone and laptop connections, minibar and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Each of the two luxury suites has a private pool, dining area and two bathrooms. A fully equipped conference and business centre may be booked and this gives business travellers the opportunity to combine business with pleasure.
Other facilities include a library, swimming pool, gym, curio shop, a boma and a private chapel. This is a perfect venue for weddings, which can be arranged with the help of our experienced staff. Lukimbi is home to both white and black rhino and there is a wide variety of general game. Game drives with professional and experienced rangers and trackers are offered twice daily in open vehicles. Off-road game-viewing is permitted. The lodge has exclusive use of 15 000 hectares (37 000 acres) and no vehicles, other than those belonging to the lodge, are permitted on the concession.
Daily bush walks tailored to suit guests’ needs are offered. These are accompanied by two armed rangers. The size and exclusivity of the concession allow the staff at Lukimbi to be flexible with regard to game drives and walks. Children are welcome and the staff provides entertainment and education for young visitors.
