Royal Malewane is one of Africa’s most luxurious wildlife lodges, renowned for providing the pinnacle of luxury Big Five game-viewing. Set among a canopy of indigenous acacia and lantern-bush trees, the central library, shop and dining area –airy and simply elegant – are linked to walkways that thread to the six luxury suites, each with its own rich wooden deck, rim-flow pool and thatched gazebo. For the ultimate in luxury, there are also the Royal and Malewane suites, which comfortably accommodate up to four guests each, with the complimentary services of a butler and private chef and up to four complimentary massages per suite per day.

Guests can be assured of a variety of gourmet delights, such as venison roasts slowly basted in the huge open fi replace of the semi-sheltered dining area. The pure luxury and elegance of this dinner creates an awesome contrast to the rustic African bush. Completely surrounded by the untamed African bush, the Waters of Royal Malewane Bush Spa is the perfect refuge for guests seeking relaxation. This sanctuary for the senses offers guests an indoor and outdoor treatment area, gym, double treatment rooms with spa baths, four casitas for post-treatment relaxation and a 25-metre heated lap pool. Treatments are inspired by African rituals, and indigenous oils and traditional ingredients provide a sensory experience with an unforgettable African touch. The treatments may be enjoyed in the spa, in the spectacular open-air sala or in the complete privacy of the guest’s suite.

Game viewing is tailored to guests’ individual needs, either by open Land Rover or on foot, and guests are accompanied by expert rangers and trackers.
