The combination of stone, thatch and canvas walls enables you to really feel part of the landscape while the interiors are warm and vivid with modern African decor influences. Indulge in long soaks in the large mosaic baths or revel in the freedom offered by the outdoor showers located on private decks that also allow you to watch the game at the stream while you relax. All of the rooms boast underfloor heating, fireplaces as well as air-conditioning and ceiling fans ensuring your comfort regardless of the weather.

Breakfast, lunch and high tea are served in the spacious and airy main lounge which has a fireplace and firepit for those chilly winter nights and for a superlative dinner head to the outdoor boma for an African feast. There is a curio shop and spa on site at this luxury destination.

For those travelling with children, stretcher beds can be set up in the rooms or book into one of the exclusive family suites designed for those looking for privacy. Meals can be served in your suite or you can join the others in the communal area. The Nare Suite offers complete exclusivity with open plan bathrooms boasting handmade rock baths as well as ‘jungle’ showers on the private deck. This suite caters for six guests in total with the upstairs loft with its own toilet a perfect spot for children to sleep. Enjoy the use of a private swimming pool and assigned game vehicles and professional guide. Your own chefs will prepare meals for you in the self-contained kitchen. For families of up to four adults and four children, the Safari Suite is the perfect venue. Soak up the sunshine on the private deck with its own splash pool, relax in the privacy of your own lounge or make use of the fabulous facilities on-hand at the main lodge.

Besides the game drives into the fabulous game-rich Madikwe Game Reserve and guided game walks there is plenty to see and do in and around the luxury lodge. You can spoil yourself at the on-site Masala Spa with a full body, Indian head, back and shoulder or foot massage; work of the calories from the delicious meals and wine in the gym or make full use of the two swimming pools on site – a small plunge pool to cool off in and a larger pool set amidst lush green grass.

Children will love the specially tailored game activities as well as the playroom situated at this luxury safari destination. The activities on offer include table tennis, foosball, a pool table as well as a wide selection of board games. There is also a designated play area alongside the gym so that they can play while you work out.
