Londolozi Tree Camp is surrounded by large shady trees, and is regarded by many as the most beautiful camp in Africa. Tree Camp at Londolozi takes its name from the massive Ebony tree that towers over the main deck. This deck is one of the main focal points of the lodge and is elevated on stilts high above the ground to provide exceptional views over the Sand River. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a lazy lunch and a glass of bubbly while perusing the surrounding bushveld.  The spacious living areas at Londolozi Tree Camp are furnished in classic African safari style. Style and simplicity are the hallmarks of the Tree Camp – from tranquil private swimming pools and airy salas, to Ralph Lauren wallpaper and Leadwood furniture, this exclusive camp is a matchless showcase of African safari excellence.

Elegant candlelit dinners of Pan-African cuisine are served either in the dining room, or under the African night sky in the reeded boma. Activities at Londolozi are geared very much to guests needs. Skilled game rangers and trackers take guests on morning and evening game drives and interpretive bush walks where the finer nuances of the African bush are explored. These safari activities are complemented by memorable extras like bush dinners, bush baths, stargazing, bird-watching and cultural visits to a nearby Shangaan village.

There are just six luxurious suites at Londolozi Tree Camp. Each suite features en-suite bathrooms complete with heated cobblestone floors, large basins set into a stone base and free-standing candelabras.  Every suite is a self-contained oasis and has a private deck with an infinity plunge pool and sala (covered deck) with views over the lush banks of the Sand River. Interiors have a modern African feel and are luxurious in every respect. Large windows maximise the view of the surrounding bush.

In addition to the excellent safari activities on offer, Tree Camp at Londolozi features a wellness centre designed for Yoga, massage and fitness. Mobile yoga floors can be set up in stunning outdoor locations.

Between activities, guests may relax in the comfort and privacy of their air-conditioned suites or enjoy relaxing on the large viewing deck at the main lodge. There are full bar facilities available as well as an elegant and comfortable sitting area.

Londolozi Tree Camp is located in the very heart of the Sabi Sand Reserve, which shares a fenceless border with the world renowned Kruger National Park. The game viewing in this area is excellent and Londolozi is known for its incredible leopard sightings.

Londolozi is accessible by road and lies approximately 500 kilometres from Johannesburg. It is an easy five hour drive from Johannesburg along National Roads, and about one and a half hours drive from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) in Nelspruit.

Charter and scheduled flights are available to the Londolozi Airstrip from both Johannesburg and KMIA. Helicopter transfers can also be arranged upon request.
