Savanna is situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park and embodies the very essence of an ‘Out of Africa’ camp. This five-star lodge has nine beautifully appointed suites, seven of which combine the romance of tented roofs and draped inner ceilings with the sophistication of a permanent brick structure that ensures security and privacy. The three executive tented suites have private decks, plunge pools and separate lounge areas. The thatched Savanna Suite consists of two separate bedroom units, each with its own pool and deck, an interleading lounge, a dining area, an outside covered patio, a waiter in attendance and a private Land Rover, and is ideal for families.
All our suites have air conditioning, fans, en-suite bathrooms, inside and outside showers, fully stocked minibars, tea stations and covered patios from which you can watch the wildlife coming down to drink at the waterholes in front of the camp. The central lodge facilities consist of a swimming pool, lounge, bar, wine cellar, dining area and a loft with library and viewing area. These all overlook a floodlit waterhole where a variety of game can be seen, particularly in the dry months. Meals are served on the deck, in the bush or in a fire-lit boma.
