In an exquisite region of South Africa where three mountain ranges meet – the Drakensberg, the Witteberg and the Maluti – lies a very special place. This spectacular five-star lodge was built with local rock by Basotho stonemasons, which adds to its rustic natural appeal. Tenahead has seven grand, en-suite bedrooms with open fi replaces that are lit throughout the snowy winter. Each is beautifully furnished for comfort and luxury. Large double-glazed windows grace a single wall of each bedroom, framing panoramic views of the awesome mountains and valleys. All the spacious living areas of the lodge are warmed by open fireplaces and have been stylishly decorated. The lodge has three lounges, a breakfast room, main dining room and library.
There is a wooden deck where lunches and sundowners can be enjoyed. Tenahead has a wine cellar that is stocked with some of South Africa’s finest wines.
