During the day explore the neighbouring attractions such as the Arusha National Park or laze around next to the swimming pool back at the luxury lodge. For the more active, you can book for horse rides, mountain biking and there are plenty of nature walks in the area.

Arusha Coffee Lodge Elewana Afrika

Catering to guests looking for something special yet comfortable and informal, Arusha Coffee Lodge offers 18 raised chalets boasting split-level rooms; chalets range in size from king-sized beds to twins to triple accommodation for families. All of the stylishly decorated private chalets have log fireplaces, split-level private lounges and great views from the spacious balconies onto Mount Meru and the coffee plantation.

The honeymoon suite in the converted stable block offers even more privacy with additional luxury touches such as the romantic bath tub, generously sized for two!

The décor is plantation style, so expect wooden beams, high ceilings and wicker furniture; in deference to their location on the coffee plantation everything is themed around coffee right down to the soaps in the chalets. Facilities include fans, mosquito nets, tea/coffee facilities, room service, a mini-bar, in-room safe and telephone with internet adapters.

Dine out on the lawns under large umbrellas or head to the neighbouring Redds African Grillhouse with its diverse menu reflecting Tanzanian specialities as well as a wide range of western options; most of the fresh ingredients are sourced from neighbouring farms. If you wish, meals can be served on your private balcony for a more romantic atmosphere; the Arusha Coffee Lodge bar is a great place to meet before or after dinner. The swimming pool is surrounded by a large wooden deck and provides the perfect place to relax and laze away the day. There is a boutique shop on site as well as a spa.
 

In and around the luxury lodge there is plenty to do from swimming and spa treatments to more strenuous activities such as hiking, horse rides and mountain biking.

There are well-laid out paths for gentle nature walks and of course Mount Meru beckons, inviting you to explore its slopes or if you are fit enough to scale its peaks.

The luxury Arusha Coffee Lodge is just 9km west of Arusha town and is on the road to the Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. There are regular flights from all other centres into Arusha Airport which is just 2km away from the lodge.
