Choose from 12 tents set around a raised dining area, deck and library adjacent to an ancient baobab tree and settle in to what is sure to be an exciting safari experience.
On the twice-daily game drives expect to see loads of elephant scattered amongst the baobab trees this area is known for and around the waterhole, back at the lodge, you will find lions, leopards as well as resident bull elephants!
Your every need is taken care of here by a personal attendant so all you have to do is relax, enjoy the atmosphere around the campfire at night, dip into delicious traditional Swahili dishes, cool off in the pool and recount your adventures of the day.
The twelve luxury tents on offer at the exclusive Sanctuary Swala are placed around the communal area of dining room, deck and library that is lifted on stilts and built around an enormous baobab tree. The camp is set in a secluded area of Tarangire National Park. All of the twelve canvas pavilion-style tents are set underneath Acacia trees for shade and are well-positioned for game viewing over the waterhole. Sleep in comfortable king-sized or twin beds and indulge in luxury safari camping with the addition of plush sofas and campaign chairs and a décor that reflects Africa and the surrounding area. The bathrooms are en-suite and boast both indoor and outdoor showers. You are spoilt with a personal attendant who will look after your every need.
Dip into the infinity swimming pool and still keep game-watching over the waterhole beneath. Meals are a delight at this luxury safari destination and venues range from picnics or dinners in the bush or on the decks of the spacious communal area.
