Sancturary Retreats

There are only seven luxurious oversized tents at this camp, each with their own private viewing deck and a hot tub and outdoor shower.  The rooms are comfortably appointed with en-suite facilities stocked with the environmentally friendly Africology products. Enjoy the views from your twin or double bed or through the picture windows overlooking the floodplain or from the privacy of your own wooden balcony. All of these spacious luxury tents boast their own comfortably furnished sitting area, have mosquito nets, a ceiling fan and the expected amenities of an upmarket bush camp. An attendant will bring tea and coffee to the room each morning.

Head to the main camp for gourmet meals and to relax on the veranda, this is also a great place from which to watch the game wander the floodplain below.

Immerse yourself in a wildlife destination like no other; the South Luangwa National Park is well known for its concentrated game population including all the favourites such as elephants, hippo, lion, wild dog, leopard, buffalo and a wide variety of antelope. The Thornicroft’s giraffe is endemic to this region and regularly spotted throughout the Park.

Spend your morning and early evenings on game drives into this wild and remote region of Zambia creating memories to last a lifetime. Guided walking safaris are also a great way to really experience the atmosphere of the African bush. Professional guides are always on hand to point out unusual vegetation, rare species and answer the myriad of questions you may have.

The luxury Puku Ridge Camp is set on a hillside of a remote, game rich area of the South Luangwa Park. Access to this luxury Zambian tented camp is by charter flight to Mfuwe Airport and then transfer to the lodge by vehicle.
