Situated right on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, Victoria Falls is one of the natural wonders of the world. In recent years visitors tended to stay on the Zambian side, but this is changing with good reason! With plenty of good quality accommodation, warm friendly service and a range of activities on offer, the Victoria Falls area is a not-to-be-missed experience.
Some of the activities on offer include bungee jumping and white water rafting for the adventure seekers, elephant back safaris for the keen wildlife enthusiast or for those looking for relaxation you can simply cruise slowly down the Zambezi River.
Views of the falls from the Zimbabwe side are generally best during the dry season, which runs from August to December. The falls are of course spectacular at any time of the year but during the heaviest flow after the rainy season, from March to May, the excessive spray can hinder the views.
