The Sanbona Story
Sanbona Wildlife Reserve offers a very unique safari experience in the hauntingly beautiful Klein Karoo. Situated just over three hours’ drive from Cape Town, the 54,000 hectare reserve boasts three enchanting luxury lodges surrounded by vast open plains and spectacular rock formations. Sanbona is home to the Big Five, albeit small herds, and the world’s only free-roaming white lions. Previously home to the San, guests are offered a unique insight into the lives of these ancient people. There are seven rock art sites throughout the reserve that date back more than 3000 years.
