The Shamwari Story
Shamwari Game Reserve is situated on 25,000 hectares of pristine African bush in the malaria-free Eastern Cape region of South Africa. The reserve has won several awards including the World’s Leading Conservation Company and Game Reserve.
Living up to its ethos of conserving a vanishing way of life, Shamwari combines conservation with responsible tourism to ensure a Big Five safari adventure of a lifetime.
The reserve boasts five eco-systems ensuring an interesting and varied safari experience. Guests can choose between seven luxury lodges set in the bush or along the banks of the Bushman’s River.
