East African Adventure

14 Nights | 15 Days | Price on request

Fly into the bustling city of Nairobi, before transferring to the Masai Mara, named after the Maasai Mara people of Kenya. From the Masai Mara, head towards Ngorongoro Crater and the Grumeti Reserve.  Both destinations are on the Serengeti - famed for the biggest wildlife show on Earth - the annual wildebeest migration.

After all the game viewing and safari excitement wrap up your African holiday in magical Zanzibar. Here you can simply relax and sun yourself on golden white beaches or for the more active, enjoy water sports in the warm crystalline waters of these Indian Ocean Islands.

    DAY 1 to 2 | NAIROBI, KENYA

The capital of Kenya, Nairobi is the country’s economic, administrative and cultural centre and is one of the largest and fastest-growing cities in Africa. The city has two airports and acts as the gateway to safari destinations in both Kenya and Tanzania.

  • East African Adventure

DAY 2 to 5 | MASAI MARA, KENYA

Perhaps the most famous game reserve in the world, the Mara is a land of vast savannahs. It is home to Africa’s Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) and the Maasai people. The reserve offers excellent game-viewing throughout the year – not only during the migration. Land Rovers traverse large areas of the reserve, optimising the experience for our guests.

DAY 5 to 8 | SERENGETI, NGORONGORO CRATER

Teeming with wildlife, this conservation area is worth visiting at least once in your lifetime. Covering only 260 km2, the 600 metre-deep volcanic crater is home to more than 30 000 animals and is one of the only places in Africa where you stand a very good chance of seeing all of the Big Five in the course of a game drive.

  • East African Adventure

    DAY 8 to 11 | SERENGETI, GRUMETI

The conservancy lies in the path of the famous annual great migration of zebra and wildebeest on their migratory route to Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. The migration passes by the region during the months of May to July every year. Throughout the year lion, elephant, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, baboon, cheetah and Masai giraffe roam the area. The region also boasts one of the highest densities of cheetah in Africa.

    DAY 11 to 15 | ZANZIBAR

This is an archipelago comprising Zanzibar and Pemba islands, as well as several islets. It is located in the Indian Ocean off the Tanzanian coastline. The irresistibly romantic Zanzibar Island (known locally as Unguja, but as Zanzibar internationally) is characterised by beautiful sandy beaches and the fascinating historical Stone Town, a World Heritage Site and the cultural heart of Zanzibar. It was the centre of trade, mostly in spices, on the East African coast.
